Academic Program (AP)

• All courses taught in English (one in Spanish)
• Lecture topics: East Asian studies, business, economics, social sciences, IT, communications,

global issues, history, fashion, theatre arts, tourism, Korean language, etc.

• Students can take up to 6 credits (2 courses, 45 hours each)
• On-campus dormitory
• Optional cultural activities: JSA/DMZ tour, Temple stay, Mud Festival, Taekwondo, making Kimchi,

ceramic art, Korean traditional music and dance, K-pop dance, Korean movie, musical, etc.

• July 9 ~ August 2, 2018 (4 weeks)

Program fee: USD2800 – including lectures and housing

For partner university students: USD1800

Global Village (GV)

• Unique internship program teaching language to small groups of Dankook University students 
• Teaching languages: English, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, German, Russian, French, and Portuguese
• Upon successful completion of the program
  • Flight reimbursement of up to USD1000
  • Internship Certificate of Completion
  • Free on-campus accommodation

• June 19 ~ July 6, 2018 (3 weeks)

Applications are only open to students participating the Academic Program

Application period: January 8 ~ March 2, 2018

Application/selection process

• Complete online application by March 2
• Submit additional application documents (Letter of Recommendation, Personal Essay) by March 2
• Acceptance results announced on March 9
• Confirm and return acceptance offer by March 16

Korean Immersion Program (KIP)

• Learning the Korean language and participating in various cultural activities
• Students can take up to 6 credits (3 credits for Korean language, 3 credits for Korean culture)
• On-campus dormitory
• Optional cultural activities: JSA/DMZ tour, Temple stay, Taekwondo, making Kimchi,

ceramic art, Korean traditional music and dance, K-pop dance, Korean movie, musical, etc.

• Session 1:  July 31 ~ August 16, 2018 (3 weeks)
• Session 2:  August 7 ~ August 23, 2018 (3 weeks)

Program fee: USD1200 – including Korean language lectures and housing

For partner university students: USD1000
