The Universidad de Colima, México has a long tradition of periodic scientific meetings devoted to the different aspects of recent studies of volcanism which take place every two-three years and have became a tradition. Volcán de Colima is the most active volcano of Mexico and for more than 10 years has been in a state of eruption with both effusive and explosive activity. It is with great pleasure that we invite you to join us in Colima during 2-6 February, 2009. We will provide a stimulating forum for your discussions and a convivial atmosphere in which to make acquaintances and renew old friendships.
