The Purpose Component integrates the following sub‐components: teaching, scientific, culture dissemination, and extension of services.
The teaching sub‐component is constituted as a frame of reference for planning and institutional development through incorporating the theories of social, humanist, behavioral, cognitivist, and constructivist interaction, among others, upon which the university education is founded and serves as a basis for establishing the models.
The cooperation of the scientific sub‐component privileges the early contact, inclusion, and involvement of the students in different projects coordinated by the researchers of our institution, undertaken in order to contribute to the transformation of the society, within the frame of social responsibility, and the protection of intellectual property of both students and scholars.
The sub‐component of cultural dissemination and extension of services contributes to the transformation of the reality of our environment through the training of responsible, enterprising, professional, competent, well‐informed citizens, with a strong sense of justice and social solidarity that allows the society of our state and country, to create a sustainable future.
The interrelation of teaching‐research‐cultural dissemination‐extension is the basis to achieve the comprehensive training of our students to evince in their level of professional knowledge; scientific thinking; appreciation and mastery of arts; culture and sport; physical, entrepreneurial, and civic culture; healthy habits and their psychosocial development.
