EHaz is a consortium of six research-based universities in Canada, Mexico, and the U.S. One of these is the Universidad de Colima. It organizes exchanges between staff and students of engineering and science disciplines involved in the study of natural geological hazards, as well as students of the social sciences acknowledging the importance of political, social, and economic aspects in hazard management. During January - April 2007 we participated in the excellent videoconference class with the title: Experimental Course on Volcano Instability. Many exciting talks were included. In 2008 there will be a further course titled "Convergent plate boundary volcanism. Anyone from the University of Colima including visiting students wishing to attend should contact Nick.
