Objective:
Continuation of project to investigate the variation in density of blocks in the pyroclastic flow deposits of 2005. Fieldwork was carried out in Montegrande, La Arena and La Lumbre with field density measurements made of several 1000 rocks.

Objective:
Installation of two Doppler radar systems on south flank of volcano. The systems are allowing the measurement of ascent velocities of particles released in Vulcanian explosions. One system is a permanent installation, the other will be in place until November.
